PREPARATION
The walls onto which the section is to be mounted should be finished and painted.
MOUNTING
Cut and drill the aluminium sections depending on the measurements needed.
Allow for a space o approximately 400 to 600mm. Between fasteners. Be careful to ensure fixing points are never opposite each other, as this could weaken the wall. Cut the Zikonyl secton 2mm. longer than the aluminium section.
If the wall has a skisting board, only mount the top end cap. If there is no skirting board mount both the top and bottom end caps to ensure the Zikonyl section cannot slide down.
Mount the end caps onto the aluminium section before fixing the aluminium section onto the wall.
Finally, mount the Zikonyl plastic section onto the aluminium section.
The minimum installarion measure of ZK-X model is 40mm.
