Product description

The ZK-F is a vertical corner protector for 90°angles made entirely of Zikonyl®, the BS1d0 certified low-smoke material compliant with EN 13501-1. Unlike other models in the range, the ZK-F does not have an aluminum core: the Zikonyl® profile adheres directly to the wall using neutral silicone, without the need to drill into the wall.

The ZK-F is also available in 135° angle, manufactured at that angle, NOT folded, this gives it better strength than if it were folded.

Its textured surface effectively conceals scratches from daily use, maintaining a well-maintained appearance over time. It is a particularly suitable solution when drilling into the wall is undesirable or impossible, such as in completed hospital spaces or renovations with minimal intervention.

Installation is quick and easy: simply cut the ZK-F to the required length and adhere it with neutral silicone, ensuring beforehand that both the profile (on its smooth side) and the wall are completely clean of dust and impurities. Pre-cleaning is essential to guarantee a long-lasting bond.

Important: Before applying the neutral silicone, thoroughly clean both the smooth side of the profile and the wall surface. Any traces of dust, grease, or poorly adhered paint will compromise the bond.

Assembly guide

Step-by-step installation

Preparing the wall:

Walls must be finished and painted before installation. No prior reinforcement is required.

Cut to size

Cut the Zikonyl® profile to the required dimensions using a fine circular saw or a professional utility knife.

Clean the surfaces

Thoroughly clean the inside of the profile and the wall of dust and impurities. This step is essential for long-lasting adhesion.

04

Apply adhesive and fix.

Apply neutral silicone or contact adhesive to the smooth side of the profile and press firmly against the wall until it cures.
