Product description
The ZK-801 sheet is a polycarbonate sheet with fire resistance certification B,S1,d0 in accordance with EN 13501-1+A1:2009, the highest classification required for a plastic material. This makes it suitable for use in accordance with the Technical Building Code (DB-SI, Section SI 1, paragraph 4).
The sheets are flat and coloured throughout, which means that scratches are barely noticeable and are greatly softened by the textured finish. Being made from polycarbonate gives it excellent impact resistance (Izod impact without notch: No break at +23 °C and at –30 °C).
Installation is very straightforward: the smooth side of the sheet is attached to the wall using adhesive or neutral silicone, with neutral silicone being the preferred option in indoor environments as it makes installation easier. The sheets can be thermoformed with straight folds up to 2,050 mm in length to fit around corners and shelves.
They can be cut to size and combined with the accessories ZK901 (U-shaped top trim), ZK902 (joint between panels) and ZK905 (internal corner), all available in the 4 colours of the panel.
Important: before applying the neutral silicone sealant, thoroughly clean both the smooth side of the panel and the wall surface. Any traces of dust, grease or poorly adhered paint will compromise the bond.

45° chamfer cut
We offer the option of cutting the edges of the sheet to a 45° chamfer. This finish ensures that the edges of the sheet are perfectly integrated into the corners and joints, resulting in a more refined aesthetic with no exposed sharp edges.
The chamfer is applied to the required length and can be combined with accessories ZK901, ZK902 and ZK905 to complete the installation finish.

Installation of accessories
First, fix profiles ZK901 (finishing), ZK902 (between streets) and ZK905 (inside corner) in the correct positions.

Wall Adhesion
Apply contact adhesive or neutral silicone to the smooth side of the sheet and press firmly against the wall. Neutral silicone is preferable in enclosed spaces.
Products that should NOT be used for cleaning
The ZK-801 sheet is durable and easy to clean, but some harsh chemicals can damage its surface. See the image below for products whose use should be avoided. For regular cleaning, we recommend using water with mild soap or products specifically designed for polycarbonate.
