Product description
The ZK-O handrail consists of a structural aluminium profile coated with Zikonyl®; our material is BS1d0-certified for low smoke emission. Its circular cross-section makes it particularly comfortable to the touch and impact-resistant in high-traffic environments.
Thanks to our three-point anchorage brackets, the ZK-O is installed directly onto double plasterboard or brick partition walls without the need for internal reinforcement, eliminating the need for additional building work and reducing the total installation cost.
The brackets are spaced at equal intervals — recommended spacing of 900 to 1300 mm — and do not need to align with the metal studs in the plasterboard. The ZK-O profile also allows for continuity on staircases.
The ZK-O handrail is delivered to the customer cut to size and fully assembled, complete with end caps and supports.

Step-by-step installation

Preparing the wall:
Walls must be finished and painted before installation. No prior reinforcement is required.
02
Distribute the handrails
Using our measurement plan, we will need to place each handrail in its corresponding location.
03
Drill through the wall
We will mark the points on the wall, using a level, and then drill into the wall.
04
Assemble the set
Screw the handrail to the wall and place the decorative covers that conceal the bracket screws.
