What are bespoke frames?

The frames are crafted one by one, in a virtually handcrafted manner. The process involves shaping the Zikonyl® material using heat to adapt it precisely to the measurements and geometry of each door frame.

They are very useful for covering door frames and protecting them from the day-to-day knocks caused by wheelchairs, trolleys and stretchers. They are also ideal in cases where the frame is already damaged, as they cover any existing imperfections, leaving a flawless finish.

If you need a frame with a side of non-standard dimensions, or with more folds than usual, we can produce a fully bespoke piece for you. We have specialised machinery for this type of work.

1 Fold - L-Shape — Simple Corner Protector

The most common shape. Like a standard corner protector but customized exactly to the frame's dimensions. Protects two sides of the frame's edge.

2 folds - U-shape — Two-wing profile

Two folds that completely wrap around the edge of the frame. Ideal for thicker frames or when it is necessary to protect the three visible sides of the door profile.

The frame height cannot exceed 2,050 millimeters, which is the maximum length our machinery can handle to guarantee the quality and precision of the fold.

Zikonyl® material is cut to the exact length required, including margins, to ensure a snug fit.

Each piece is individually checked for dimensions, angles, and surface finish before being shipped to the customer..

Installation over the frame

The piece is placed directly over the existing door frame, covering it without needing to remove the original frame.
