Product description

The Zikonyl® flat profile is a decorative wall protection made entirely from Zikonyl® PVC. Its flat design and rounded edges eliminate sharp corners, ensuring safety in hospitals, care homes, hotels and office buildings.

The outer surface is textured to offer greater resistance to abrasion and a uniform aesthetic finish, whilst the inner surface is smooth to ensure perfect adhesion to the wall using neutral silicone or contact adhesive.

No drilling or building work required: it is installed directly onto the finished and painted wall, without disrupting the centre’s activities. The profile is supplied to the customer cut to size, ready for installation.

Its BS1d0 fire reaction certification — in accordance with standard EN 13501-1 — classifies it in the most stringent category for building materials used in public buildings, hospitals and care homes.

Step-by-step installation

Prepare the wall

The walls where it will be installed must be finished and painted before starting the assembly.

Cut to size

Cut the Zikonyl® profile to the required dimensions using a fine circular saw or a professional utility knife.

03

Clean the surfaces

Thoroughly clean the inside of the profile and the wall of dust and impurities. This step is essential for long-lasting adhesion..

04

Apply adhesive and fix.

Apply neutral silicone or contact adhesive to the smooth side of the profile and press firmly against the wall until it cures.
